Tangled Noodle

Abject apologies for reading this so late!! It's wonderful that Pals has remained a family business for so long and that, although the building, menu and prices have all expanded (!), the heart of it remains. As for the service, it's so rare to see that respectful efficiency - usually we get either the long-lost-best-friend or I'm-only-doing-this-until-something-better-comes-along waitstaff.

By the way, you have now sparked the most massive craving for Hungarian Goulash (and cream of 'shroom)! It's a good thing I have recipes for both and that it's turning into the perfect weather for them . . .

Long live the family restaurant!
